Neurofeedback and Brain Training in Lynn Haven, FL
Neurofeedback, also called brain training, is a non-invasive way to give the brain feedback it can practice responding to in real time. Because this modality requires specialized technical equipment, all training sessions are conducted exclusively in person at our local office. Neurofeedback is educational brain training support, not a diagnosis, cure, or guaranteed treatment; results vary.
What Is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback works by tracking brainwave patterns and giving the brain real-time information while you watch a movie, listen to audio, or play a game. When your brain moves toward a more helpful training state, the feedback becomes clearer or smoother, helping the brain practice through consistent repetition.
We use a Whole Brain Training approach, meaning we work with the brain as a complete, interconnected system instead of focusing on one isolated symptom.

Information About Neurofeedback
This short video offers additional context on neurofeedback and how systematic brain training may support self-regulation practice over time.
How It Works
Gentle sensors are placed on your scalp or forehead to measure electrical brain activity. The sensors observe only; they do not send anything into your brain or cause any physical sensations.
Brainwave patterns can shift with attention, relaxation, alertness, and stress. Neurofeedback uses those patterns as training information, not as a stand-alone diagnosis.
Over time, your brain practices responding to feedback during a consistent training protocol. Like building physical strength, consistency in your training protocol matters.
What Sets Us Apart
Berry Wellness Group uses Whole Brain Training workflows with EEG-based neurofeedback equipment to create individualized training plans.
Protocols may involve multiple training sites in one session, depending on the training plan and goals discussed during the evaluation process.
Your Training Space
Neurofeedback requires dedicated technical hardware, which is why all brain training sessions are conducted exclusively in person at our Lynn Haven office.
We designed this space to feel calm, focused, and comfortable so you can stay engaged during each training block.
Getting Started
Your Training Path
Evaluation
We begin with an evaluation process. QEEG brain mapping helps us look at patterns that may inform the training plan.
Training Plan
Based on the evaluation process, we design a neurofeedback protocol connected to your training goals and baseline information.
Brain Training
Training begins with a consistent schedule. Some clients notice changes early, while others notice gradual or mixed changes over several weeks of training.
Commitment Required
Whole Brain Training may include both HEG and QEEG-based protocols. The program typically involves 30 to 40 sessions, often held 2 to 3 times per week. Sessions last about 60 minutes.
We recommend avoiding video games during your training program, as they may interfere with the training process for some clients. If you are taking medication, coordinate with your prescribing healthcare provider.
Location, Fees, and Insurance
Neurofeedback requires technical hardware and is completed in person at our Lynn Haven, FL office.
While traditional clinical counseling at Berry Wellness Group is often covered by major insurance plans (including Tricare, UHC, Optum, and Humana), neurofeedback coverage varies significantly by provider and plan. We provide clear self-pay structures and access to third-party secondary financing to help clients plan for the cost of a training program.
Advance Care Financing
We partner with Advance Care to provide financing options for eligible services. This may help you manage the cost of your Whole Brain Training program over time.

During and After the Session
A soft cap is placed on your head, and small sensors inside the cap are connected using a gentle saltwater solution to ensure good electrical contact.
Some people notice changes early, while others notice gradual or mixed changes. Open communication helps us adjust your training blocks as needed.
